Scheduled Closings

Every year, ACAP closes for the following holidays:

New Year’s Day
Good Friday
Memorial Day
Fourth of July
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day + Friday after Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day
New Year’s Eve

If holidays fall on a Saturday or Sunday, ACAP closes the Friday before or the Monday after. We will notify members of this as needed.

ACAP holds at least two Staff In-Service Days or program planning days per year, during which ACAP is closed to members. We will notify members of this when they are scheduled.

Between sessions, ACAP holds Interim Weeks, which provide special programming to a limited number of members and also provide staff administrative working time to prepare for the new session.

Weather Alerts

A homepage pop-up alert will appear in the event of a closing due to weather. Weather related closings will also be posted via Fox 6 News and ACAP’s social media page(s).
